Albert Bierstadt (1830-1902)
I've been a big Bierstadt fan since age 15, when I was introduced to his work by my highschool art teacher. I think it must stem from my love of the American West. The time of indians, frontiermen, cowboys and mountainmen. (Not the "Brokeback" type of cowboys)

I'm not usually a big fan of landscape paintings, but I have to admit these are very impressive.
Ok, half a year is a long enough break. Time for a new post!
